Jim Keady is an American activist, educator, former politician and DI athlete originally from Belmar, NJ.
Known for his advocacy against Nike's sweatshop practices, he lived among Nike factory workers in Indonesia, sparking national media coverage and educational workshops on sweatshop abuses. Keady also played key roles in Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts in NJ, supported Syrian refugees in Greece, and provided aid in Puerto Rico post-Hurricane Maria. His political career includes serving on the Asbury Park City Council and running for the NJ State Assembly and U.S. Congress, driven by his commitment to social justice and accountability in public service.
